The Iranian Student Group at UCLA: Fostering Unity and Cultural Enrichment Since 1985

Since our establishment in 1985, the Iranian Student Group at UCLA has been at the forefront of uniting Iranian students and immersing them in the richness of our cultural, historical, and community heritage. Our mission is to build and sustain a dynamic, inclusive organization that resonates with everyone connected to Iran and its widespread diaspora.

Located in Los Angeles, the city with the largest Iranian community outside of Iran, our group is uniquely positioned to connect diverse experiences and stories. We channel this advantage into promoting insightful educational programs, cultural exchanges, and engaging social events.

We strive to be a pivotal voice and a unifying force, intertwining the narratives of our students with the wider community, from California to Iran and across the globe. Our dedication is centered on fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Iranian culture, facilitating meaningful dialogues, and creating a supportive, far-reaching network. This network aims to go beyond academic boundaries, enriching personal development and community solidarity.
